A 40 second TV advert for Little Death Orchestra's debut CD was aired on the music channel VH1. The advert featured a solitary music buyer in a strangely gloomy record store, who is bombarded with a bewildering array of musical categories to choose from while Little Death Orchestra's track Shudder is playing. Eventually the shopper comes to rest at the musical section 'Uneasy Listening', which contains a single CD: Little Death Orchestra.
Little Death Orchestra's record label, Bowman's Capsule, wanted an unconventional campaign for the album, and the 'Uneasy Listening' strategy was devised for them by Naked. The advert was the first to air from director Robert Kaplan, who featured in the Saatchi & Saatchi young directors showcase that year.
